“The sectors of a city…are decipherable, but the personal meaning they have for us is incommunicable…” [Guy Debord]

Anyway…

Between the Musée d’Orsay and the Pont de L’Alma on the River Seine are five floating islets on specially constructed barges moored to the shore with an array of 55 trees, 220 shrubs, tall ornamental grasses and semi-aquatic plants. Each of the interconnected islets has a different theme. [More detail here].

ah ! Debord – La Societé du Spectacle …. authenticity replaced by representation … he’s definitely fingered a facet of where we are and hurtling irrevocably … but a riverside to sit and be is authentic ,,,, Bernard Rudofsky ‘Streets for People’ and other of his looks at non authentic pursuits … keep taking em pix … the world is in colour ….
