Not necessarily a metaphor for anything….
Just thought it was about time to get out with the camera and take a few new photographs of my own again… in black & white naturally.
Slightly off the beaten track on the Eastney side of Langstone Harbour. Vaguely linked images of boats, ropes, beach , sailing boats and the sea…
“There is a tide in the affairs of men.
Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;
Omitted, all the voyage of their life
Is bound in shallows and in miseries….”
“…On such a full sea are we now afloat,
And we must take the current when it serves,
Or lose our ventures…”
[William Shakespeare from “Julius Caesar” (Act 4, Scene 3)]
